Money Measure Privacy Policy

Effective date: 15 July 2026

Money Measure is a private by default app for tracking your financial position and cashflow. This policy explains what data the app handles and where that data lives.

The short version

Your data stays on your device. Money Measure has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. We cannot see your data.

Data the app stores

Everything you enter, such as items, values, cashflow entries and settings, is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. The app works fully offline. It does not request internet permission, so it cannot upload your data.

Data we collect

None. The app does not collect, transmit or share any personal information or usage data.

Exports

If you use an export or share feature, the app creates a file and hands it to the Android share sheet. You choose where that file goes, and it is your responsibility once it leaves the app.

Device backups

Money Measure opts out of Android device backups and device to device transfers. Your data is not included in Google backups, even if backups are turned on for the rest of your device. This also means your data does not move to a new phone automatically. Use the export features if you want a copy of your numbers.

Permissions

Money Measure requests no permissions. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files outside its own storage, or the internet.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
